Narration के मुख्य नियम (Main Rules of Narration)

  • Conjunction का प्रयोग: 'that' (statements के लिए), 'if/whether' (yes/no questions के लिए), या 'Wh-word' (Wh-questions के लिए) का प्रयोग करें।
  • Pronouns में परिवर्तन: Reported speech के pronouns को reporting verb के subject या object के अनुसार बदलें (S-O-N Rule: 1st person changes according to Subject, 2nd person according to Object, 3rd person No change).
  • Tense में परिवर्तन: अगर Reporting Verb Past Tense में है, तो Reported Speech का Tense भी बदल जाता है। (नीचे टेबल में देखें)
  • Time और Place के शब्दों में परिवर्तन: 'now' को 'then', 'today' को 'that day', 'tomorrow' को 'the next day', 'here' को 'there' आदि में बदलें।
Common Mistake Alert: Universal truths, proverbs, or habitual actions का tense Indirect Speech में नहीं बदलता। जैसे: The teacher said, "Honesty is the best policy." -> The teacher said that honesty is the best policy.

  • नियमों को रटने की बजाय समझें: सिर्फ rules याद करने से कुछ नहीं होगा। हर rule के पीछे का logic समझें। जैसे, Tense क्यों बदलता है, Pronoun क्यों बदलता है।
  • Category-wise Practice: Statements, Questions (Yes/No, Wh-), Imperative, Exclamatory, Optative sentences – हर category के लिए अलग से practice करें। मैंने देखा है, बच्चे अक्सर एक ही तरह के वाक्य हल करते रहते हैं और बाकी पर ध्यान नहीं देते।
