देखिए दोस्तों, RRB ALP CBT 1 रेलवे भर्ती बोर्ड द्वारा आयोजित एक महत्वपूर्ण परीक्षा है जो Assistant Loco Pilot और Technicians के पदों पर भर्ती के लिए पहला चरण है। यह परीक्षा एक screening test होती है, जिसका मतलब है कि इसके मार्क्स फाइनल मेरिट में नहीं जुड़ते, लेकिन इसे पास करना अगले चरण (CBT 2) में जाने के लिए अनिवार्य है। इसमें Maths, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science और General Awareness जैसे विषयों से प्रश्न पूछे जाते हैं।
मैंने अपने शिक्षण अनुभव में देखा है कि कई छात्र सिलेबस तो पूरा पढ़ लेते हैं, लेकिन मॉक टेस्ट देने से हिचकिचाते हैं। यह एक बहुत बड़ी गलती है! बिना मॉक टेस्ट दिए आप अपनी कमियों को पहचान नहीं पाएंगे और न ही समय प्रबंधन सीख पाएंगे। 2024 और 2025 की परीक्षाओं में भी मैंने देखा कि जो छात्र नियमित रूप से मॉक टेस्ट देते थे, उनका प्रदर्शन दूसरों की तुलना में काफी बेहतर रहा।
CBT 1 में चार मुख्य सेक्शन होते हैं, और हर सेक्शन की अपनी एक अलग रणनीति होती है।
गणित सेक्शन में संख्या प्रणाली, BODMAS, दशमलव, भिन्न, LCM, HCF, अनुपात और समानुपात, प्रतिशत, मेंसुरेशन, समय और कार्य, समय और दूरी, सरल और चक्रवृद्धि ब्याज, लाभ और हानि, बीजगणित, ज्यामिति और त्रिकोणमिति, प्राथमिक सांख्यिकी, वर्गमूल, आयु गणना, कैलेंडर और घड़ी, पाइप और टंकी आदि से प्रश्न आते हैं। मेरी सलाह है कि आप NCERT की किताबों पर अच्छी पकड़ बनाएं और हर टॉपिक के बेसिक कॉन्सेप्ट्स को क्लियर करें। मैंने देखा है कि कई छात्र shortcuts के पीछे भागते हैं, लेकिन जब तक बेसिक मजबूत न हो, shortcuts काम नहीं आते।
यह सेक्शन स्कोरिंग होता है अगर आप इसमें अच्छे से प्रैक्टिस करें। इसमें सादृश्यता, वर्णमाला और संख्या श्रृंखला, कोडिंग और डिकोडिंग, गणितीय संक्रियाएं, संबंध, न्याय, वेन आरेख, डेटा इंटरप्रिटेशन और पर्याप्तता, निष्कर्ष और निर्णय लेना, समानताएं और अंतर, विश्लेषणात्मक तर्क, वर्गीकरण, दिशाएं, कथन-तर्क और धारणाएं आदि शामिल हैं। इस सेक्शन के लिए जितनी ज्यादा प्रैक्टिस करेंगे, उतनी ही आपकी स्पीड और एक्यूरेसी बढ़ेगी। मेरे कई छात्रों ने सिर्फ पिछले साल के पेपर और मॉक टेस्ट लगाकर इस सेक्शन में पूरे मार्क्स हासिल किए हैं।
सामान्य विज्ञान में भौतिकी, रसायन विज्ञान और जीव विज्ञान के प्रश्न आते हैं। इनका स्तर 10वीं कक्षा तक का होता है। NCERT की किताबें इस सेक्शन के लिए बाइबिल हैं। खासकर 9वीं और 10वीं की NCERT को घोलकर पी जाएं। मैंने पर्सनली देखा है कि 80% सवाल सीधे NCERT से आते हैं। Concepts को रटने की बजाय समझने की कोशिश करें। Physics में न्यूमेरिकल भी आ सकते हैं, इसलिए फॉर्मूलों पर पकड़ बनाना ज़रूरी है।
इस सेक्शन में करंट अफेयर्स, विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी, खेल, संस्कृति, व्यक्तित्व, अर्थशास्त्र, राजनीति और अन्य महत्वपूर्ण विषयों से प्रश्न होते हैं। इसके लिए नियमित रूप से समाचार पत्र पढ़ें, मासिक करंट अफेयर्स मैगज़ीन पढ़ें और Unictest जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म पर उपलब्ध GK क्विज़ हल करें। यह सेक्शन थोड़ा unpredictable होता है, लेकिन लगातार अपडेट रहने से आप इसमें अच्छा स्कोर कर सकते हैं। अक्सर छात्र इस सेक्शन को हल्के में लेते हैं, लेकिन यह आपकी मेरिट में बड़ा अंतर पैदा कर सकता है।

गणित में स्पीड और एक्यूरेसी बहुत ज़रूरी है। सबसे पहले, सभी महत्वपूर्ण फ़ार्मूले और ट्रिक्स की एक अलग कॉपी बनाएं। हर दिन 30-40 मिनट सिर्फ कैलकुलेशन प्रैक्टिस को दें। वर्गमूल, घनमूल, पहाड़े, प्रतिशत के भिन्न मान आदि याद रखें। मेरी सलाह है कि पहले उन टॉपिक्स को कवर करें जिनसे ज़्यादा प्रश्न आते हैं, जैसे संख्या प्रणाली, प्रतिशत, लाभ-हानि, समय-कार्य।
यह सेक्शन आपकी तार्किक क्षमता को परखता है। इसमें कोई फ़ॉर्मूला नहीं होता, सिर्फ प्रैक्टिस और पैटर्न को समझना होता है। रोज़ाना पज़ल्स, सिटिंग अरेंजमेंट, कोडिंग-डिकोडिंग जैसे प्रश्नों को हल करें। वेन आरेख और न्याय के प्रश्नों पर विशेष ध्यान दें। ये बहुत स्कोरिंग होते हैं।
जैसा कि मैंने पहले भी बताया, NCERT 9वीं और 10वीं की किताबें इस सेक्शन की कुंजी हैं। Physics में मात्रक, इकाइयाँ, गति के नियम, ऊर्जा के स्रोत; Chemistry में रासायनिक अभिक्रियाएं, आवर्त सारणी, अम्ल-क्षार; Biology में मानव शरीर प्रणाली, रोग और उनके कारण, पोषण पर ध्यान दें। छोटे-छोटे नोट्स बनाएं ताकि रिवीजन में आसानी हो।
यह सेक्शन बहुत विशाल है। इसे कवर करने के लिए रोज़ाना न्यूज़पेपर पढ़ना बहुत ज़रूरी है (खासकर The Hindu या Indian Express)। मासिक करंट अफेयर्स मैगज़ीन पढ़ें। स्टैटिक GK के लिए लुसेंट जैसी किताबें बहुत उपयोगी हैं। रेलवे से संबंधित सामान्य ज्ञान, भारत का इतिहास, भूगोल और अर्थव्यवस्था के महत्वपूर्ण तथ्यों पर ध्यान दें।
